Project Overview

Sentinel ICCS Ltd was engaged to support the rectification and upgrade of Emergency Shutdown and Fire & Gas systems within a critical offshore production environment.

The project was initiated following the identification of logic inconsistencies, outdated operator graphics, and documentation gaps affecting operational reliability and safety assurance across the Integrated Control and Safety System environment.

Solution

Sentinel ICCS Ltd implemented a structured rectification and upgrade strategy combining logic correction, validation testing, operator interface improvements, and controlled documentation management. 

The project included Emergency Shutdown and Fire & Gas logic updates, revised Human Machine Interface graphics, Factory Acceptance Testing activities, and integrated validation procedures to verify operational performance before offshore deployment.

A controlled testing and review process was established throughout the project lifecycle to ensure all updates aligned with operational safety requirements, shutdown philosophies, and approved engineering documentation.
